Their name represents their home and it represents family. 5-6 Famalia consists of three talented biological brothers, rappers Yung Canon, Holliwood, and rapper/singer/producer Hero the Prince. Their styles are completely different from each other, but they mesh perfectly. 5-6 Famalia has been together for seven years and in the process has built a dedicated fan base, recorded many songs, and performed in several states. They have created their own path when it comes to the sound of their music with a combination of East Coast and Southern Rap with Pop-Rock melodies over futuristic beats. In addition to creating radio friendly songs in different genres, 5-6 Famalia makes an impact with their lyrics as well, whether they freestyle or write them. Dream Out!

Yeah, we've played all over Pennsylvania (especially Philly and Penn State) and New Jersey. We've also played in California, New York, Florida, and we had a big show in Detroit.

There are a lot of artists from different genres who influence us. We're influenced from the streets from artists such as Lil Wayne, Young Jeezy, Rick Ross, Cassidy, and Beanie Sigel. We're influenced by hip-hop artists who have pushed the boundaries of music such as Outkast, Kanye West, and Lupe Fiasco. We get the melodic side of our music from rock artists/groups such as Radiohead, Weezer, Jimi Hendrix, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Coldplay, and System of a Down. Along with our unique beats, we've crafted our own style of music that's easily accessible to the mainstream, but different than anything out there.
