Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
50 Uzi was formed in 1997 by former guitar player vocals Jonas "Putz" Puig, who is still the lead vocalist of the band, Christian "CB" Baladad the bass guitar player and Harold "Andong" Abenoja the drummer. In the mid of 2003, Efren Herbert "Jhing" Bato joined the band as the lead guitar player. And in 2006, another member Leonardo "Leopoldo" Saberola who plays bass. 50 Uzi plays at local bars in San Fernando City and more oftentimes on rock festivities and Side Project.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes we play live. Local bars, festivals, Side Project and anywhere else we can possibly rock! We freakinly love playing hard, heavy and live!
Your musical influences
Musical influences of the band are Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Metallica, Pantera, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam and Pinoy Rock n' Roll Band Juan De La Cruz.
