We're five crazy home-grown rappers from the east side of Dayton. T-rev, 2 Slow, Krazy Kane, Phat Pak, and Shorty G are the diabolical forces that make the Dayton Dawgs.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
We started as just 2 people, T-rev and Phat Pak. Just 2 kids playing with a microphone and a computer program. It was all freestyles at first. Then they managed to pull me in, followed by Krazy Kane and Shorty G. We found out that writing the music lets it flow a LOT better. Now here we are, putting ourselves out there for the world to see.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Not yet, but someday we will.
Your musical influences
That's a hard one to answer, we all have our own influences. Some of us thrive on the insanity spit out of the mouths of the Insane Clown Posse and Twiztid, others go from the gangsta ways of 50 Cent. But for each of us, there is no one influence, and there is no certain style.
What equipment do you use?
We have a $20 microphone, and an old recording program installed on a crap computer.
Anything else?
Someday, we can change the world of rap and get these ridiculous people off the radio.
