I just liked it without the backing tracks. In fact these are 4 lead-takes played simultaneously. It's a musical joke. Don't take it too seriously.
It sounds to me like some kind of film theme, hence the title. I imagine he did not get the girl this time, to say the least. Better luck next time :-).
