We are a husband and wife team in which I composed the music bed for the song Voodoo using loops and wrote the lyrics, then recorded Irene's original melodies and harmonies. Also recorded some live congas over the intro played by my good friend Colski from the bands Melodic Candy and Jigsore (see the Jigsore page here at Soundclick.com)Band/artist history
This all came together while I was studying audio engineering in 2003. I was given the task of creating a loop based music bed using Acid Pro 4, and overdubbing live tracks of voice or instrument. Voodoo is the result of this project, built from an extremely limited library of loops finds the song defying an obvious genre but rather encompasses a crossover of multiple styles that work perfectly to create a unique feelYour musical influences
