Lock 'em Down Records is an independent rap label based out of Memphis Tennessee. Founded in 1990 by Kevin Bowie and Samuel King. Lock 'em Down is considered by many as one of Memphis' top independent labels and at the same time a well kept secret to most. In the last few years Lock 'em Down artists have been featured on numerous nationwide compilation albums and have recently became a part of "Diamond Productions" a sales and promotional company. Lock 'em Down's artist line up has changed throughout the years. Initially starting with the group "3MK" who had minimal success on compilations and opening shows for more well known artists. Coming directly off of the success of their 1999 release titled: "Lock 'em Down Records Compilation" the label is in position to make serious impacts on the Memphis and Southern Rap scene in the coming years. Lock 'em Down is a sister company under the newly formed, KIBO Corporation which has under it's control: Digital Domain Studios (Memphis), DDS Digital Mastering (Memphis) and DDS Graphics (Memphis). Lock 'em Down now has the team it's needed to place it's self in the forefront of Memphis rap, now it's just a matter of time.fff
