A mutant blend of Industrial, Metal, noise, and dance beats.
Band/artist history
3-hole face emerged onto the West Virginia music scene in the first part of 2000 bringing with them a crushing sound and shocking stage presence that has earned them a reputation in local circuits as a band to watch. With high-intensity lyrics, dark guitar work, sampling, and other electronic elements, they definitely have a sound all their own.
(G. Graves; Choke E-Zine)
Pieced together from several local bands, Loss of Will, Temper, Evol Kleavage, and Bucket Mouth, 3-hole face have created a mutant entity that both captivates and terrifies. Members include J. Hicks (VOX), T. Smith (BASS, VOX), R. Postlethwait(Guitar), and J. Jordan (KEYS, VOX) however as many as 8 musicians can be seen onstage at one time, creating a thick wall of sound that is not only heard, but seen. In the past when it came to recording T. Smith and J. Hicks were the only elements added to the mix. giving them thefreedom and creativity that comes with solitude to perform the songs as they wanted, and is shown very much so in there Debut album DEPARTURE, which was released in 2/01 under drop dead records.
Now times have cahnged and everyone helps out in the mix and is shown in their Sophmore realese "The Dying Machine" which has taken their music into a whole new level of extreme!!

When are you gonna be in Mo-town again? I was just at 123 Pleasent street to see Descention Rate about a week ago. I wouldn't mind seeing you live, I like the sound you have.
