Punk

We're a hardcore punk band with musical influences of crust, hardcore and oi and lyrical influences of anarcho and folk. We pride ourselves on playing hardcore punk never to be touched by the mainstream (except in offensiveness or defiance). You can download our whole Free and Proud EP on the MP3 download page, just arrange the tracks in the right order and burn your CD, and you have a 1984 EP. You can go to http://www.geocities.com/nineteen84punk and print out covers/liner notes if you want.
Band/artist history
Eric, Matt and Zach were in DBP until mid 2005, Sean was in The Dregs until 2004 or so. In January 2006 Destroy (Eric, Matt, Zach) and 7th Cavalry (Eric, Sean, Jake) combined to form 1984.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Everywhere... house shows are the best but are hard to come by. Clubs, bars, wherever.
Your musical influences
Aus-Rotten, Blitz, Behind Enemy Lines, Crass, Misfits, Flux of Pink Indians, Black Flag
What equipment do you use?
Cheap stuff... it doesn't really matter as long as it sounds decent and distorts the instruments.
