First and foremost, EL-P (Def Jux). He's definitely an inspiration to "do your own thing." His music is just amazing. I refer to him as the Mozart of Hip Hop. Other influences are: Cannibal Ox, Pharoah Monch, Mos Def, RZA (earlier works), Public Enemy, 3rd Bass, NWA, Run DMC, Rakim, KRS, etc...What equipment do you use?
