Xeeban's music is an exploration of electronic music. Its a journey into the sonic soundscapes of dance beats and ambient pads generated by an endless flow of zeros and ones. To be complete, this jouney must include the familiar as well as the bizzare, the first stumbling steps amongst divine inspired motifs.

Why this name?
Xeeban was the name of a character I created and played in the on-line gamed called Everquest. I spent many an evening playing my alternate identity and it was natural to imagine this avatar as my musical avatar as well.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet and mp3s have allowed anyone with the interest and desire to share their music with others, even people they have never met. The advent of the personal computer and powerful music creation and editing tools have also been revolutionary, allowing people to create music in their bedrooms where once it took a huge stuido filled with equipment. We live in truly revolutionary times!
Your influences?
Influences on my music are bands like Enigma and Erasure. Another independent artist that I greatly admire is Sami Takieddin. If you get a chance, check out his music!
Equipment used:
Primary audio/midi sequencer is Sonar 3. I use Project5 and Fruityloops to quickly sketch a song and later move it over to Sonar as groove clips or as wav files.
Hardware: Yamaha Motif 8, Yamaha CS6x, Emu E6400 Ultra, Rode NT1a mic.
Softsynths: Albino, Atmosphere, Trilogy, Stylus.
