it gives people the opportunity to listen to many diverse genres of highly talented unsigned bands not the dross the music industry seems to think we want to hear.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
possibly,but would have to be the right deal.
Band History:
wirewound consists of two guys from south wales uk,ray davies[no not that one]and albert kelly.both started playing at a tender age with ray performing at the local folk clubs in his formative years and albert playing heavy rock with various bands.ray continued his solo career until he teamed up with his brother and embarked upon many european tours culminating as support for fairport convention.albert meanwhile was busy with his band and occasional solo gigs.they met up a few years back when albert asked ray to guest with his band at a local charity gig. soon after, they got together and started a song writing project blending ray's fingerstyle with alberts heavy rock influences,voila wirewound was born.
