I'm looking for artists to complete an album (CD/MP3) compilation that I'm producing. This project will be naturally eclectic, featuring various independent artists [Hip Hop, R&B, Gospel, Jazz , Reggae, Rock, House/Club, etc...]. Come Singers, MCs, Poets, and Instrumentalists. I’m looking for the best of the best. If you're interested in being apart of this compilation, download an instrumental and record your song. Then, email the mp3 version of your completed work(s) to djwillpower@live.com. You may download and record more than one track.



If I love what you do with the track. I may contact you to offer you (or your group) a recording agreement [an independent non-exclusive record deal]. As independent artists, you will have the opportunity to earn a percentage of sales accrued from song/single CD/MP3 sales/downloads, album CD/MP3 sales/downloads, and a percentage of any commercial licenses offered to television/film/video games of the song you are the featured artist of.



IMPORTANT NOTICE:



I’m interested in CLEAN/RADIO VERSIONS ONLY for this project (unadulterated themes/no profanity). I will not choose songs illustrating hatred or harm against any group or individual, discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age, nor illustrations of (as to encourage or promote) illegal activities (such as drug sales, obsessive violence, etc.). Please exercise your skills to come forth with material that doesn’t contain vulgar or adulterated themes. The “Parental Advisory” placard will not be on this project. We're creating soulful sounds for family entertainment (Men, Women, & Children).



Each instrumental is available to download without sound marks or voice overs for only $12.99 each @ soundclick/willpower. Instrumental downloads are offered for the "soul" purposes of screening unique artist with gifted skills to complete this project and/or future projects. Instrumentals are otherwise to be used FOR PERSONAL USE ONLY!



INSTRUCTIONS:



1. Go to www.soundclick.com/willpower

2. Click the "purchase music @ store" link (at the left of the page)

3. Purchase the mp3 album title that contains the instrumental of your choice



Note: The unmarked version of the instrumental is featured in the mp3 album as "a hidden track". You'll have access to download the track after you complete your purchase.



4. Record your song to the instrumental you chose.

5. Email the mp3 version of the finished song to djwillpower@live.com for consideration



Chosen or not, I will contact you to inform you of my decision, reviews/suggestions/notes, or further requests.



IT IS VERY IMPORTANT that you ask your studio engineer to solo each of your vocal tracks (individually) and export them as wav files and burn them onto your CD along with the finished mix of your song. In the event that I choose your song for this compilation, I may ask for a high quality version of your vocal performance, unmixed without effects, so I may mix, sample, and add effects as needed. Again, export your verses, chorus, adlibs, etc. seperately, in addition to the complete mix of your song.



The Recording Agreement, exact details in regards to commercial distribution and licensing, including the monies artists may receive from the sales thereof will be discussed with chosen artists/groups/musicians only.
