Troparion is an early music ensemble based in Basel, Switzerland. Our repertoire extends from the music composed in the XVth Century to the one composed up until the first half of the XIXth Century. Always interpreted using period instruments.
Band/artist history
Troparion has a base of four musicians that make the core of it. To this basic formation we add as much musicians as the program needs. Troparion has performed in many cities of Spain and Europe. Actually we are touring with our last program "Sotto Notturno Ciel" with italian XVIIth's Century music.

Yes, we do specially enjoy live playing. I we could choose to do only this instead of recording we'd do!
