Tommie Sox was fascinated with Music at an early age by being introduced to various genres of Music. He began teaching himself how to play various instruments as early as 8 years old. Growing up he played the drums in a Swing/Latin Band and traveled to New Orleans, Canada, Washington D.C. & Alaska. The Band performed at various places such as the South Street Sea Port, The Pentagon & the United Nations. After performing with the band for 4 years, he entrolled into a 4 year Music Production Program to sharpen up his skills and pursue his dream. At age 20, being business savvy paid off and he opened up his own recording studio located in Brooklyn. He has been involved in various mixtape releases such as Funk Master Flex's Unsigned Talent Soundtrack c/o Tat Wza & a mixtape entitled Mancini The Knockout King which had special guests such as Hot 97s own Mister Cee, DJ Camilo, Power 105.1fm's Dj Carl Blaze, The Crowd Motivator DJ Ace, Harlems own Dennis Da Menace, and Brooklyns own Rob-Lo, Ted Smooth, Dj Lucho, & Dj Wreck. Notable clients that he has worked with are D.V. Alias Khryst, Chico Debarge, Steele (Smith N Wessun), Mims, Armageddon, Melle Mel, & The Hoodfellaz. I enjoy all different Styles & Genres of Music because I feel that Music is a universal language that everyone can relate to and understand.
