I'm a singer, song writer and poet. I write and sing of people & places some would say are best left unsaid.
Why this name?
I like my name, it has a rhythm to it.
Do you play live?
I love playing live. Larger audiences are great to play off of but the smallest venues give me an uncomfortable intimacy that turns me on.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Among a sea of major players the web allows the independent artist a voice that goes often unnoticed.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
More likely to go with an indie that cares.
Band History:
Born and bred new yorker, I'm a singer, song writer and poet.
I write and sing of people & places some would say are best left unsaid.
The raw lyrics are contradictory to the, dare I say, beautiful vocals. They are a perfect polar opposite.
There’s really no way to describe my style, you just have to experience it.
I'm quite able to sing you a sweet sweet song about being
" alone on a cum stained mattress in the rivington hotel, aside a book of matches and a note that says stay well"....well you get the picture.
There’s rock, pop and a deep soul in me.
No matter the melody or lyrics, I am always and distinctively myself.
This allows for anything.
My mom listened to motown & my dad listened to rock & roll. I had the best of both worlds. There’s a huge difference between simplistic and vapid. I write songs with a heartbeat.
