The Throbz are a band searching for a new edge in the realm of interesting and heavy tunes. Bored and sickened and jaded by the world of popular music and many unpopular genres, we are culminating a sound to suit our desires for something heavy, rythmic, and ballsy. Tired of metal's symphony, punk's bubblegum and rehashing of older styles, and despising rap-rock's lack of soul and incessant whining.Band/artist history
We all come from bands in the Baltimore music scene, spanning over 20 years of music experience. We love music, our music, and music with balls. We'll never stop, lest we go mad.Have you performed in front of an audience?Currently we're still working on some new tunes and the concepts for our stage show. If you listen to the music you'll understand that we're guys who don't just wanna' be some retards in affrocentric styles jumping around on stage. We want to scare, encite, stimulate, and possibly kill and/or rape you.

Monster Magnet, Prong, Clutch, GWAR, numerous metal and soul influences. We're influenced by big and rythmic sounds, and powerful, earthy vocals.What equipment do you use?
