Welcome to the Not very Good Interval Band. We don't aspire to anything much, but here is a little of what we do have.

For extra stuff/history/news and malarkey check out www.nvgib.com itself and there are also tunes from the 3rd album "Peru: Spoonraker" on www.download.com as well.

Top nonny.
Why this name?
Simple as it is, we started out playing in the Interval of University Revues and we were and generally still are NoT Very Good.
Do you play live?
We don't often play live at the moment. Most recent gigs were in Cambridge University for the release of our third album "Peru: Spoonraker".

Most special moment was playing at the Bradford University "Bands on the Beck" in 1995 in front of more people than I can count and being louder than we have ever been before or since.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It is so much easier for smaller acts to find an outlet. Much more fun than sitting on a street corner in a jumpsuit trying to flog albums!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes, but lets face it, it's not very likely at the moment.
Band History:
Well, you'd best go to www.nvgib.com for this as there is too much to repeat in one box.
Your influences?
The Cardiacs, Iron Maiden, Level 42, any Comedy Music.
