****LET'S SING FOR A FREE TIBET****

May we take this opportunity to let you know how YOU and YOUR VISIT mean to us ---

To those who come and listen to our songs, you're like the ones who admire and smell the flowers in our garden.

To those who leave messages at our Comments board, you're like the butterflies who not only admire the flowers but also want to spread its beauty to everyone else.

To those who wish to collaborate with us, you're like the good old neighbor who comes and not only admires but also weeds out the garden and waters the flowers from time to time.

Finally, to those who download our songs, you're like the bees who not only admire the flowers but collect its nectars in order to produce sweet honey for everyone.

But whichever of these you belong to, may we THANK YOU truly for this opportunity. And may there'll be more flowers to grow and to enjoy.

-------A Minor Bird--------
I have wished a bird would fly away,
And not sing by my house all day;

Have clapped my hands at him from the door
When it seemed as if I could bear no more.

The fault must partly have been in me.
The bird was not to blame for his key.

And of course there must be something wrong
In wanting to silence any song.

Why this name?
Mark is the son. Dan is the father who does mostly all the lyrics and the yelling(singing), hence the Markdanyells.
Do you play live?
The Markdanyells sing in church choirs and in weddings as requested and special church events.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Lowly composers like myself have the opportunity to be heard of and listened to, which gives us equal opportunity with other well known and established artists. But the issues that we want brought out know no Big Names.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
As of present time, no one's really making it big, so what's the difference. Everyone can upload or download their own music...
Band History:
The Markdanyells is composed of Dan and Mark is the son who helps out playing keyboards and bass guitar. We sing in church choirs, and on weddings as requested and on special church events.
