Guerrilla Records Recording Artist:

Independent Recording Artists: Ivory Tower Project is a new breed of 'old school' rockers. Music for those who love the sound of New Classic Rock and Power Pop. Ivory Tower Project (ITP) was formed by songwriters Johnny Jace & Mark Regula, based out of New York. NYC vetaran guitarist: Tony Novarro was recruited and Novarro & Regula formed the core of ITP. As band members left, they were replaced by the NY Metro's finest studio musicians which transformed Ivory Tower from being a band into a "Project". ITP signed with Guerrilla Records who released a four-song limited edition EP entitled "Red Hot". Their EP was released internationally, and has been played on over 300 radio stations in 27 countries worldwide. "Burning" has also become the track of choice to be featured on 5 compilation CDs in 4 countries: Australia, Germany, England and the USA.

Guerrilla Records is happy to announce the re-release of RED HOT as a 10 track album. The album will include the 4 tracks that was on the original EP, but it will also include an additional 5 tracks that have been recorded and written by the original band members. A special track will also be included of a solo recording of the group’s original drummer: Sal DiAngelo – who died a few months after their first recording session. Also to be included is a candid radio interview with the group’s co-founder: Mark Regula. This release has been professionally mastered and duplicated with new front and back cover art and credits.

Why this name?
Webster’s definition of “Ivory Tower” is: a figurative place of mental withdrawal from reality. The phrase is used as a symbol of escapism. An appropriate name for a group of guys who have day jobs...
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet is an invaluable tool for all aspiring artists/bands to reach potential fans around the world. It offers a more level playing field for both indie and major artists to promote their music.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
It depends on the offer. We have a non-exclusive deal with Guerrilla Records. Our options are open and negotiable.
