Nashville, TN - Modern Rock band, THE INVENTED are proud to announce the forthcoming release of their long-awaited debut studio album, entitled BLUR OF TOMORROW.

The album, which features a thunderous rhythm section, lush keyboards, colliding guitar landscapes, along with emotional, dynamic lyrics and vocals, will feature the following tracks:

Forgive Me
Carried Away
Stranger
Major to Minor
You Keep Telling Me
Guilty
Paranoia
Ghost of Me
Spinning Wheel
Blur of Tomorrow

The Invented will support the album with sales available online, including I-Tunes, their own website, www.theinvented.com, and at upcoming live shows. Expect to hear the band's first single "Forgive Me," as well as other tracks, this fall on local radio in Nashville, TN.

The Invented's vocalist, Michael McCormack, proclaims "This is a rock solid album. Each song could be a single as far as I'm concerned. Every effort has been made to ensure each song is top notch and that this album, as a whole, takes the listener on an intimate musical and spiritual journey. It's an introspective ride..."

As far as the title is concerned, McCormack states; "Blur of Tomorrow" represents where we are today as wanderers in a complex world that is constantly changing and becoming more and more dangerous and confusing. While not being overtly political, I hope these songs will collectively tap into the conciousness of those out there that are feeling a little disconnected with the status quo. Additionally, we, as a band, aspire to achieve a strong connection with true fans of modern rock music.

We really hope to bring back an elegance and sophistication to modern rock music that's been missing lately. Whether we can make that connection with the public, with more and more people voting for their pop stars like politicians, remains a blur for us...

The future may look like a blur to The Invented, but with an end title song in the upcoming JAWS documentary, THE SHARK IS STILL WORKING, which McCormack also scored, and with the release of their new album, the future may find it's focus just yet...

description
THE INVENTED are an exciting modern rock band meshing sonic soundscapes, soaring guitars, thunderous drum patterns, and fluid vocal lines to produce a dynamic sound that is lush, atmospheric, moody, and melodic.
Why this name?
We wanted something unique and that suited the music's mood and more adventurous quality...
Do you play live?
We play often in the Nashville Area. In June 2006 we played the Deloreon Car Show in Chicago, IL for the premiere of "Looking Back At The Future" documentary.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
People don't go to bars like they used to...
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If the offer was right...
Band History:
THE NEW CD - COMING SOON!!!

Update: New Album in the works/
"Blur of Tomorrow" hits online distribution...

Nashville, TN: Greg Parker and Mike McCormack have already started working on new material for an exciting, hard-edged follow-up to "Blur of Tomorrow."

"We got a lot of emotional stuff out of the way on the last CD, which we love and are very proud of, but now it's time for Greg and I to get a little crazy with our sound. The new demos we have are off the chart. Greg is going insane on the guitar!"

But don't forget about the current CD - The band's newly released "Blur of Tomorrow" album will be hitting the online distribution market (including iTUNES) hard in the coming weeks/months.

Also in the works is an acoustic EP, an album of demos and outtakes from the BLUR sessions, and two tracks for THE SHARK IS STILL WORKING official soundtrack, which will also include the motion picture soundtrack scored by McCormack.
