There are many people who are part of the trail to get these stories out. People who inspired me, such as my brother Jim, and brothers in Christ Charlie Sneller and Brad Fox. Those at various sites who set up the sound systems and recorded for me. The people who came to hear some stories. Postproduction engineering by Ron Spencer Studios. But mostly Charlie, without whose musical talent, computer skills, and continual encouragement there simply would be no "The Farmer Tells Stories."
Why this name?
My wife is Adele, and together we are The Farmer and Adele, hence The Farmer.
Do you play live?
Just about all my stories are recorded live in the San Diego or Riverside county areas.
One special moment came when I received my first piece of fan mail. It came from a man in Holland who wanted to become a preacher.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
So long, LP's.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes, but they would have to offer me a dollar three eighty.
Your influences?
I like to laugh and thoroughly enjoy good stories which are true.
Favorite spot?
Home. Fallbrook, Ca.
Equipment used:
I'm fortunate; I can just use the stage system.
Anything else...?
