The Cracks.
Why this name?
I like the name.
Do you play live?
I rarely play live. If I do, it is at open mics.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Technology has absolutely changed the music industry, it seems to me. I can record a song in my basement in Baltimore, MD, U.S.A., and a few minutes after uploading it to my web site, a person in Leeds, England, can put it on his iPod (true story).
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Getting signed by a record company is not even in the top 500 of my goals.
Band History:
The Cracks started in April 2005. Although the band didn't jell, I still write and play behind the band name. I enjoy the anonymity a band provides.
Your influences?
All good Rock and Roll influences me, although my favorites are the Rolling Stones.
Favorite spot?
Well, my favorite spot/city would have to be Baltimore, Maryland, U.S.A.
Equipment used:
I use the most basic recording and musical equipment. I am low budget lo-fi.
Anything else...?
I am a member of the Baltimore Songwriters Association (http://baltimoresongwriters.org/).
