As of August 8, 2008, The Earth Turned Over's bassist, Nicholas Gomillion, will be leaving the band. It was not due to any kind of personal differences between members, he is simply inspired to pursue other things. So, we are currently holding auditions for a new bass player.
We are looking for someone that is at least 18 years old and is capable of touring when the occasion arises. They need to be willing to learn around 11 songs that have already been written as well as be able to assist in the creation of new ones. Needs to be dedicated, and at least able to attend 1 rehearsal a week.
If you are interested, hit us up on any of our sites, preferably myspace, or e-mail us at TheEarthWillTurn@live.com. Thanks!

Officially formed on December 1st of 2007, The Earth Turned Over is a Hardcore Progressive Rock Alternative group from the central Indiana area. They consist of four hopelessly dedicated musicians who are always wishing for the best and prepared for the worst; Joshua "Wheeler" Castaneda performs vocals for the group, Joshua Grow rips the awesome riffs with lead guitar, and Steven Wissig kicks it crazy-style on drums. Their first self-titled e.p. was released on April 21 of 2008 and they are currently in the works of laying down their first full-length album! Why this name?
"The Earth Turned Over" was actually a solo project that guitarist, Joshua Grow started in mid February of 2007. The name was picked due to all the random events that had recently occurred in his life. Almost everything had changed and life just wasn't the same, "the earth had seemed to turn over", so therefore it was only fitting that the musical release that took him away from all that would be named, "The Earth Turned Over".
