Why this name?
I admit it I love Hip Hop Mixed CDs/Tapes. I have a local vendor (other street name will not be used :-) who locates and sells some of the hottest new signed and unsigned Mixed Tapes. I recently had the pleasure of meeting one of the Artist from a Mixed CD I play all day everyday. Surprisingly enough, he did not know his music had circulated so far. I just flat told him, you need to be heard - and heard by everybody. I told him, I listen to new music on the Internet all the time on soundclick and he needed a site. Then this idea hit me - to make a site I could run to help the MIXED TAPES ARTISTS get known and here it is for you to discover what I believe to be THA NEXT UP in HIP HOP music in my book. As I got the okay to upload a free MIXED CD for you to download, just do my a favor and spread the word - who knows we might just help out the next superstar in HIP HOP get their break. I'll try my best to click Labels inquiries via email to the Artist of your interest because I am keeping a line of communicate open with each Artist. As I find artists I believe are starbound I will add them to the site for you to down. But for now, I do have one MIXED CD worth DOWNLOADING.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think so many unknown artist are putting out better material than what's being chosen for the Radio. Hopefully this site will let people spread the word a little faster.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If someone gets signed from this site, I only want a front row concert ticket, that's all.
