To be blunt, CLIP & K.A.S.T. are what has been missing from Hip-hop for many years. They are throw backs to a time when lyrics flow, depth, integrity, direction and passion, were required qualities in an MC. Formed in late 97 early 98, long time friends Clip and K.A.S.T. started rhyming as a way to channel their frustration and escape the Kaos that was going through their lives. Over the years they have cultivated and maintained a high standard of lyricism, blending real life situation with a vividly intense delivery, allowing them to ride effortlessly over any track. With numerous live performances to their credit ranging from, college events to open mic show cases. This allowed them to show case their talents in the presence of industry heavyweights, such as Akon and hot 97 own Dj Camillo. .
