Heavy blues rock from Sweden, spiced with Texan sound.

Texas Boogie has gotten great recognition from Roberto Guarnieri, live event producer for artists as:(Brand X, Tony Macalpine, Philip Bynoe, Virgil Donati, Brett Garsed, Marty
Friedman, William Stravato, Skylark etc).

Texas Boogie is now being played on several radio stations in europe: Radio Coteaux and Radio Aria in france, Equinoxe (The radio ROCK) in belgium and Radio Antenna 2 in italy.

Why this name?

Our bandname comes from our style of music. It has influences from Texan rock & the blues.

Do you play live?

We haven't started playing live yet, but we're planning to do so during this year.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

It gives independent muscians a greater chance to reach out to listeners in the whole world. And also a chance to sell their records through the net. The internet is the dooropener for a new world of creative musicians.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

Maybe. If a mayor label would be interested in giving us a contract we'd probably sign it, if the terms feels allright. But if the possibility in selling records/music on the net increases - we may just settle for that.

Band History:

Musical project based in Skellefteå, far up north in Sweden. Started as a test recording and is today a still on-going project.

Your influences?

Influences is the Texas boogie and blues. Mainly band as ZZ-top has been a great source of inspiration for me as a songwriter. It´s guitar based Texan rock.

Favorite spot?

Myrheden, 3 miles west of Fällfors. Never been there but they tell many stories about it.

Bass, keyboard, drums and lots of fuzzy guitars.
