Music is something I do purely as a hobby, but I might start a band in the future. Almost all of the music I post on this site will be played or programmed by me. I play mostly heavy metal music, but I don't restrict myself to it.
Why this name?
Simple. I'm a techy type of guy, and my first name starts with a J, and my last name is Steele.
Do you play live?
I jam out with some of my friends, but maybe in the future we could solidify into a band and play gigs.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It changes it in a big way, because the internet allows a lot more people to hear more music by more people. Websites like this one give the unsigned artist or band the chance to get heard by lots of people that otherwise might not ever hear them.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
It depends on the contract.
Band History:
I've been playing on and off for 8 years now. I started with a $100 pawnshop Ibanez, and a Marshall MG30CD. I am self taught up this point, but I'm looking into using the Metal Method DVD's to help improve my playing.
Your influences?
I have a lot of influences. I really can't name just one.
Favorite spot?
My hometown, Imperial Beach, CA USA. I'm moving back there someday. The Mexican food there is to die for.
