In ancient Japan, a kensei /sword's saint; (sometimes alternatively rendered in English as Kensai, Ken Sai, Kansei, or Kenshei) was an honorary title given to a warrior of legendary skill in swordsmanship. The literal translation of "kensei" is "sword saint". Thus, the term is considered by some to imply a higher degree of perfection (possibly also encompassing a moral dimension) than the more commonly used kengō or "great sword."

Among the most famous kensei is Miyamoto Musashi, although not all would apply the term to him. Other historical kensei are often the founder of a popular school of swordsmanship. Although there is no such written rule, the title carries such prestige that it is commonly understood that there should be no more than one kensei at any given time.

I am fully prepared to play live, first in the Atlanta, GA area, then the world. I am actively seeking a singer, bass player, and drummer to complete the band. Also seeking artist management and booking.

If I am offered a recording contract with terms and an advance that are acceptable to me, I will sign. I'm in this to make a living doing what I do best. Make music and perform for an audience.

Eric (Guitarman) Dennis was emerging in 1983 with his band around the same time that Eddie Van Halen, Randy Rhoads, George Lynch, Yngwie Malmsteen and others were gaining fame and fortune. Unfortunately, personal tensions within the band, disagreements on musical direction, and bad management decisions prevented the band from getting the proper exposure and making the right contacts to get them signed to a recording contract. In 1992 Eric quit that band and settled down to marriage and fatherhood. After a long hiatus from the music world, the death of Eric’s father in December of 2006 brought him out of retirement and back to hard rock music with a vengeance. In 2007 Eric produced two independent albums and made them available to the public on his Myspace Music site under the band name of "ELEMENTLE". Seeking a new direction, Eric changed the name of the band to "Sword Saint" and his latest album (ALONE IN THE DARK) is currently in production. Songs from the upcoming album can be heard right now.
