I could imagine this song being a West End stage hit. Lovely retro song and immediately engaging.
Every time I hear this, it keeps getting better. The way Tim crafts a song is something special. Sweet but never schmaltzy, the sincerity and authenticity give it something I could never hope to achieve. The length is perfectly period correct, but that doesn't keep me from wishing it would just keep playing.
Man, that trumpet... :)
So nostalgic in both music and lyrics. Everything is working perfectly here. I like the old fashioned way the vocals have been put here, with thanks to Ralph.
Wow, this one is both bringing you in a good mood and bringing back those good old times. Nice!
Old school smooth and chillin cuz !
