Stephen Connolly now known as Steve swagger started out listening to a variety of music such as rock hip hop dance classical reggae and many others at a very young age he realize he had a gift for writing and composing words together in poems and creative writing growing up in nova Scotia though there was no hip hop scene at all at this time in his life so he ignored the skills. Many years later he decided to make a change and move with his father (rip Thomas Walsh) who lived in Niagara falls Ontario shortly after moving up to Ontario he realized it was nothing like his small home town but yet filled with hip hop culture supporting the budding artist. So it began he started writing text in his spare time learning rhyme sceme, word structure and how to use metaphors and such without sitting in an English class. One day he stumbled upon this website called rapverse which hosted a variety of young hungry individuals who were all trying to become involved in the urban industry. Immediately he hooked up with several people who told him to try to record some of his writing so people could actually hear his words aloud...first several songs were bad to say the least but the young emcee showed hunger and flow plus ability to ride a beat. Everyday for 8 months this artist non-stop did 2 songs a day at least collabing with anyone and taking any advice he could get. After much struggle and progression he started recording on high level equipment and putting together mixtapes his first one titled hustler chronicles which didn’t do as well as he had hoped because of no promotion after a few more years an much more progression he now has a unique style and flow that makes his songs well like and very recognizable he has music videos available on you tube mix tapes on datpiff and collaborations with some of Canada’s hottest artists and producers and the end is no where in site this artist keeps growing and adapting more with every song he does stay tuned because this young hungry emcees rise will be epic I promise you that.Band/artist history
