Steve Elliott is an acoustic guitarist and singer, currently living in Moscow. He is a great blues player and also runs the Acoustic Guitar Workshop.

Why this name?
My Name is Steve Elliott. Some people call me Stevie, so I just put the initial of my surname on the end of my christian name and have: Stevee.
Do you play live?
Yes. But it's nerve-wracking to play solo. There's nowhere to hide. Everytime a song goes well and someone claps is a special moment for me.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
There's good and bad in it. Good is that it has broken the monopoly of the record companies so artists have more power. But I have noticed that consumers now seem to expect that music should be free. But how can you have an industry survive that way?
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes, of course.
