Sour E Raised in the Fort Greene section of Brooklyn
Sour E was introduced to hip hop by his older cousin Patrick Ray at the age of ten. He had Sour E listen to the likes of Bone Thugs N Harmony, followed by Notorous BIG. Needless to say it grew on Sour E. Within months, Sour E started writing his own rhymes. Even performing for class mates at school lunch or recess and after school programs.
Sour E is a story teller that puts the listener in his shoes and simply has fun doing what he does.
Sour E is an artist that isnt afraid to express his feelings and opinons on a track
and truly stands out from other up and coming artist with his friends, "The Rise" (www.myspace.com/risereps) making sure of that.
Sour E is the artist to watch for, the future is here.

Yes, I try to perform live as much as I can. Recently i've been doing a lot of Hot 97 sponsored venues. To be honest anywhere with a crowd is considered worthy of performing for me. I like showing future fans my ability to rip the stage all while keeping them involved and bumping. Everytime i receive props for what i did is a special moment. Means I really connected.
