Dennis Patrick Tierney A.K.A ( SlingShot Double S ) was born June 13th 1990 at the Stevenson Memorial Hospital In Alliston Ontario. A little town an hour north of downtown Toronto located on Hwy.89.
His Mother ( Lisa Tierney ) is a loving and caring woman who always has time for her kids. His father ( John Tierney ) is a hard working man who wont take no for an answer. He has one older brother John Tierney also known as ( Intalect ) Who helped get him started.
All of his life Dennis was around music... all different kinds of it, but he never really got into Rap or Hip-Hop. He was raised on mostly Rock and Roll from the 80's.
Dennis went to Alliston Union Public School for 10 years of his life, through out public school he was into alot of different trends. Always leading not following other people.

The first tracks SlingShot ever recorded were In This Cold Land, and All For The Cash/ Hadizzle with O.G. now known as ( Cynical )
During grade.8 he was introduced to Ryan Harper A.K.A
( Acedik ) who was a good friend and mentor to him. Harper was a local Emcee, who got his name from his dark lyrics, clever punchlines, and battle tracks.
In Gr.9 SlingShot started his first year at Banting Memorial High School a well known school in New Tecumseth. This is where he would make his mark. In the first couple of days he met 2 friends Flex and Wrek ( Alex Fowler, Jeff Kirk )
During his time in high school Dennis worked on his music day and night creating a certain type of sound, putting out 3 mixtapes and around 100 songs in only a couple months.
He made tracks with such artist as Acedik,Wrek-9,Jay-G, Intalect, Absoloot, O.G, WrenOne, Bin Bizzy, Skill Kill, Raw-Q, Jub-Adub & Dnali.
Slinky or SlingShot went to most of his classes during high school and never failed once, but by the time Gr.11 came around he was sick of being there so he decided to drop out.
Not long after being out of school he got into an accident that almost ended his life, but 6th months later he was fully healed and ready for anything. This is when he really got into producing ...just doing it for hours at a time on his own lyrics. Then some guy he knew through some friends Jesse Galati or ( Jay-G ) came up with this idea of making a group called Hard North Hustle it started small with just t-shirt but grew to be something bigger so Slinky decided to join. Ever since this happened everything has just bin blowin up..they have shows ...clothes...and pleanty of talent. SlingShot now produces the group and still puts out meaningful tracks until this day..
