Leave Your Lights On

Chuck and R.P. do a great job on the guitars on this one. Like all these songs this one was recorded kinda impromptu, live in Ray's Jam Room.

Change In My Pocket #2

Another captured moment. The vocals a low on this one but the guitar work is good and we were tight.

Folsom Prison Blues

This is another one of the songs that someone took off into and the rest of us jumped in and we all went for the ride. Didn't turn out to bad. Still workin' on polishin' this one up.
We're just a bunch of guys that started gettin' together and makin' music about a year and a half or so ago. Ray is the drummer, Rich is on keyboards and back up vocals, Chuck is on rhythm guitar and vocals, R.P. is lead guitar and vocals and Sonny on bass and back up vocals. These recordings were made by hanging a recording microphone in the middle of the band room. That's why things are out of balance. We just started trying to record and as soon as I figure out how to balance things out our recordings will, hopefully, sound much better. We sound much better than this live and in person.
Band/artist history
Basically, Ray, Chuck and Sonny started out as a three piece band of drums, bass and guitar. Then R.P. joined with his smokin' leads and Rich joined shortly after that with his magic keyboards and that brought it all together. POOF! suddenly we had a kickin' band. We'd get together and someone would say, "Let's play [a song]." and lay down a lick or two. The rest of us would jump in and the next thing we knew we were playing the song. We now have a pretty extensive song list.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
We practice live every Wednesday an Friday at Ray's Jam Room. We've played out once and loved it. We'd love to play out more but we're only known by word of mouth. If ya need a good party band, give us a call. Folks that have heard us live, love us.
Your musical influences
Our influences are varied. We play southern rock like Marshall Tucker, Skynard, The Outlaws, Santana, The Atlanta Rhythm Section, The Georgia Satellites, we even do a couple of Jethro Tull numbers without the flute and you don't even miss the flute. We do some country numbers, classic rock stuff and some new stuff. Our range goes every direction. No rap or hip hop though.
What equipment do you use?
We use the standard equipment. Drums, keyboards, amps and guitars. We're just now getting into the recording aspects of things so I imagine our equipment collection will increase as that happens.
Anything else?
SHAMELESS SELF PROMOTION. If you need a good party band at a resonable price give us an e-mail or call. We're more than happy to work out a deal.
