Since we do all of our own recording and playing of all instruments heard, the name "Simply Two" seemed rather suitable.

Yes we play live in the Vancouver Lower Mainland area for various venues. We play popular cover tune material for folks that mostly like to dance and/or listen.

Yes, it has changed the industry a lot. The availability of music from a wider varity of artists beyond radio has been made possible due to MP3's. This is a good thing as radio needs the competition and Indie artists have the possibility for better exposure since MP3's can be heard over internet stations and the like.

Unlikely at our age (lets get real) however, should someone want to buy the rights to one of our songs and make it a huge hit themselves we would consider it possible (would highly depend on the credibility of the other party and the contract itself of course).

Apart from playing as a working cover band duo in and around Vancouver british Columbia, Simply Two has generated ample amounts of International airplay over the last few years regarding our own material some of which is on this site. We have managed to chart as high as #27 on the International Indie Worldwide Charts. We have made friends with many international DJ's over the last few years in this crazy music biz.

We listen to and are influenced by many different artists (too many to list) and many many different genres (from classical music to heavy rock and everything in between)!

Of course Vancouver, Victoria, Vancouver Island in beautiful British Columbia!

We own our own recording studio (home based) 24 track digital and much more.
