Sick-Scripts has always been a unique force to be reckoned with in hip-hop circles. The twenty-one year-old Boston born emcee has had a rough past and has led a life that many would compare to a heart-wrenching story not even the most talented writer could produce. While he's had a rocky and turbulent life, he tries not reflecting on it too much. Instead, Sick mixes his east coast lyricism with the southern swagger he received while living in South Florida for a portion of his life. The end result mixes two of the most diverse styles in the game with huge success. Sick’s style and finesse has garnered him the attention of many and the cult following of countless others. Always representing his city, Sick-Scripts is determined to lend a helping hand in the mainstream discovery of the untapped talent that resides in Boston.

Why this name?
Two reasons. When I was born I had complications in my breathing, doctors diagnosed me with acute asthma and it wasn't looking good. Somehow I survived all that, but throughout my life I've had some pretty serious close calls, making it out of all of them. So in a sense, I've been "Sick" since day one. Scripts because that's slang for prescriptions. Sounds good to me. haha
Do you play live?
Yeah, hit me up for a performance.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet opens the world of music to alot of people it would not normally reach to. It also gives artists an unlimited amount of advertising. Shit, it's workin already for me if you're here listening to my shit.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Hell yea. It'd be real nice to make some nice money off of what I love to do.
Band History:
Sick-Scripts was born and raised in South Boston. When he moved to South Florida he became friends with an aspiring emcee, K.O. It was there that Sick fell in love with hip-hop music and the art of being an emcee. Shortly after moving back to his birthplace in South Boston, Sick began taking his hobby of rhyming seriously, creating a song a day off his own cheap studio setup of and on for a few years. Soon after that he met up with a friend, B-Fam and Simply Sick Click was formed. The crew added and replaced a few rappers here and there over the years, but it was always Sick and B-Fam together through it all. The final membership was secured by the two emcees and newcomer T-Murph. They released an album (The Statement) and countless mixtape songs while they were together. Conflicts within the crew arouse and the three went onto solo ventures in the Boston hip-hop scene. Sick has since been repping only himself, constantly making mixtape tracks for his fanbase. He plans to drop his long awaited debut album, "Sickness Has Arrived..." in early 2008.
