This is real hip hop since 1981. No gimmicks. I just get on the mic, do my thing, and it's hot. Not a complaint yet. Check it out
Why this name?
The name is sharp. It's to the point. No need for those paragraph long names and like 50 AKA's.
Do you play live?
Whenever I get a chance
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It opens up quite a few gates for the up and coming. Especially for artists that aren't located near all these major record companies.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
No doubt. I got a little boy on the way, so he's gotta eat, too.
Band History:
I started writing rhymes in 1993. I was 11 years old, and in 6th grade. I started recording in 2001, while I was in the U.S. Marine Corps (hoorah). Now I record in Durham and Raleigh, either by Cy Yung or Spank (Bronx, stand up). It's always been fun, and it's always hot.
Your influences?
KRS, Rakim, WuTang, Tribe, Brand Nubian, GangStarr, B.I.G, Kool G Rap, Mobb Deep, Outkast, Jeru, DITC, Fat Joe, Pun, Busta Rhymes, Dre, Heiroglyphics
Favorite spot?
Raleigh, of course, and Baltimore
Equipment used:
Im an MC, so therefore I use a microphone.
