, formerly known as Made in the Shade, were a 3 piece rock band from Nottingham, England. The last line-up came together at the end of 1999 when David Atkins and Dave Davies were joined by Jez Creek.
Shadowdancer's music combined strong lyrics with a soaring background of keyboards, bass, guitar and drums, combining melody with strange rhythms and odd harmonies. 'We are just trying to incorporate the things that we like, from all the wide variety of music that has influenced and inspired us, into something a bit different, with both melody and intensity, It could be said that the music spans such a large range of influences that it is difficult to categorize, but we don't believe in limiting ourselves to playing just one kind of music.'Band/artist history
