Lyricist > Allen Saylor (pictured at right side of page) was born in Taft, California, and moved to Arkansas at 6 years of age (as in the song "Momma") Allen graduated from Arkadelphia , AR. high school in 1977, and played 3 years of minor league professional baseball with the Cleveland Indians, Los Angeles Dodgers, and independent professional team Walla Walla Blue Mountain Bears, in Walla, Walla Wa. Allen earned his second degree black belt in Tae Kwon do in 1985, and opened his own school in Arkadelphia. Allen graduated from Henderson State Univ. in Arkadelphia in 1987 and started teaching and coaching in Texarkana, AR from 1987 -1990. He then moved to his current teaching position at Lake Hamilton Jr. High in Pearcy, Arkansas, and has been there for the past 15 years. Allen and his wife, Gwen, have 3 children. Brittany, 19, a sophmore at North Texas State, Heather, 8 yrs, and Rocky 5 yrs. Allens hobbies include Camping, hunting, fishing, hiking, metal detecting, horse racing, autograph, and coin collecting, and raising his kids right. Allen has been writing lyrics and poetry for 12 years. Allen also has his own little band at school the school where he works made up by the Science dept. They are called "Sea Dog and the Lab Rats" Allen is Sea Dog and sings lead. The band usually plays for the faculty twice a year. The other Science teachers are on bass, lead, and keyboard. Allen has just recently started putting his lyrics to music with the great help of Richard Melvin Brown (AKA) Songculptor. Allen likes to write about activity in the country, true songs like ("Momma"), heartache and heartbreak, and about this wonderful thing called love!

Composer > Richard Melvin Brown is an Award Winning Songwriter & Author of the popular songwriting manual The Lyricists's Assistant   "How To TURN Your Words Into a SONG". Rick has been involved in the Music Business for over 30 years,  in (The United States, Canada  and Europe) as a Songwriter, Record Producer/Arranger, Studio Musician, and former band member for Renowned Grammy Award Winning Record Producer David Foster. Aside from writing and recording his own songs, Rick likes to help aspiring lyricists by composing music to their lyrics and assisting them in the recording process.
