I'm a Singer-Songwriter who loves playing live and recording original songs on my Boss Micro-BR 4-track. My style is mainly acoustic-based Brit-Pop, with some folk, psychedelia, rock and blues thrown into the mix. My main aim though is to write great songs, no matter what the style. It's a magic formula you really have to work at (unless you're Burt Bacharach or Brian Wilson...). Sixteen new originals plus a Marc Bolan cover. There's a lot of genre-hopping on this album: jazz, psych, retro electronica, reggae, rock, folk, pop, surf-rock, and acoustic ballads. And I play quite an array of instruments: guitars, bass, uke, harmonica, slide guitar, keyboards, percussion, and lots of orchestration (including plenty of brass). The title track is my favourite song (so far!) of any that I've written over the years.

Written and recorded in 3 weeks, a new collection of 12 originals and one cover. I play a lot of instruments on this one: guitars, bass, piano, mandolin, uke, autoharp, keyboards, and various orchestration. There's a lot of dark weirdness at play in these songs, plus folk(ish) leanings, heavy rock, pyschedelia, and melancholic balladry. Quite a heady and eclectic brew. Song list... 1.
