Hi DL!! It is good to hear from you and to read your current musings. Let's see, i think we spoke last year about this holidays long term meanings, and how conquering regions often place their holidays on top of the old....it is less disruptive allowing the social flow to keep going. No one wants to lose their celebrations. So how ever you wish to view it and what ever you want to call it... please have a wonderful Holiday and Happy New Year!!!! :D

i agree Overpopulation could bring a severe disease...if anything the Earth is good at balancing....perhaps colonizing space or major war is the only alternative. One day just being able to live on this world may be prime real estate... or we could build cities in the sky and in and on the sea.... or we could just surrender it all to the machine...and go underground ;)

OMG!!! i forgot about Youtube....just watched the Cleo 2525 intro....had to laugh, brought back such memories....it was a Sam Raimi production...think Evil Dead, Spiderman, Hercules, Xena, etc...anyway funny spoof, the world is all natural paradise but people live underground like cockroaches in a cyber tech subterranean hell....love this parody....lol!!!
