I play guitars . . . electric, acoustic and bass. I also play rudimentary keyboards, harmonica, and sing as best as I can . . . This is a simple, acoustic guitar/ accordian & voice version of one of my all time favourite Scottish melodies. So haunting and beautiful, it could bring a small tear to 'The all-Seeing Eye'. I/we sang this, and many other folk songs at Junior School. It's a melody that has stuck with me all those years. "Spencer the Rover" is a favourite of mine by the saddly missed John Martyn. I hope you enjoy this wonderful song. I venture into Folk music now and again, and I must say, I've enjoyed covering this song. The guitar is tuned quite low, CGCFGC. all the instruments (and the mike) are routed through a Line 6 Pod (2.0). A great piece of kit. David

hi david...hope you are doing well! i'm all done with my shopping and cooking for the day :D. i made a nice dinner for my family and now i'm winding down. thanks for stopping by and i hope you have a great holiday too!! yeah and we do get allot of snow and ICE. it snowed a few inches, and it has been raining ice on and off. i don't like ice...snow i can handle lol(as long as i am indoors or bundled up) hehe. it gets pretty cold here too...but been in the 30s and 40s lately, actually not to bad. janurary and feb will be much colder though... love peace and candy canes!!

Same to you O David ye Prog Meister. Sure, anytime my Mellotron can be of service in a song!! I noticed it has a Genesis Arpeggio file.. Now I can play that solo in "Seven Stones" from Nursery Crymes. What fun!!
