Work was spilling over into play time a bit so I wasn't getting out there to listen to my buds tunes and work on my own. Trying to change that, and of course I've got a bunch of things that are in process and don't know which will gel first. Have a dnb thing that is part of a overall concept type deal and the music is working but the vocals are not yet. Also a raga jungle thing that may be done first, and another darker dnb thing that I thought was good..but needs some mixing and playing. In...

Finished a new tune named Birdsongs and released it. I kept on going over and over it, and not adding anything more, so I guess it needed to be free of me. LOL. Anyway, hope you enjoy it.

So...I've been working on this tune forever. It's got everything I believe it needs, but I was thinking some spoken word stuff, but I haven't found quite the right sample. May have to just master the thing and release it...sort of un-done, but done. Then suddenly a flash of inspiration and two tunes get combined into one, completely different tune mind you, and, well, I just need to find the damn lyrics, which I misplaced somewhere...and record the vocals...Part of an overall bigger conceptua...

your not the first to comment on my volume, im changing over to logic pro soon and i hope i can stil get that raw sound that i can get from the reason compressors, i didnt know my stuff was cutting thru at all!! but i add tones of compression before mixing, each break or part is peaked, in fact its the first thing i do, just hope i can transfer that over to the mac setup, im getting monitors aswell and sayin good buy to my sony hi fi which has done me proud, imagine if i had to go back to that setup lol, i dont think logic wil let me down tho!!!!, hopefully learning on reason has actually been a bonus and it will refect well in my music!!, cheers mate
