I'm a singer. I have a few other pastimes that I enjoy, but music has been a large part of my life. I made my first public singing appearance at age four. It's been hard keeping me away from stages since. I sing any song that appeals to me, it really doesn't matter the genre. Most would call me country. Country folks would probably call me more folk, blues or pop. Maybe I'm a mixture of them all.

Hi Danna, I just wanted to stop by and say a big thanks for leaving such a nice comment on my page...made my day :) I do enjoy alot of artists and people on SC, I know I'm small potatoes at my music crafting...but I will always love down to earth, great songwriters and independent artists, this site is chock full of them. I've been enjoyin some music of yours the past few days...you have a beautiful voice and authentic sound. We both enjoy alot of the same classic artists of the country genre....I'm a big Vern Gosdin fan too, what a voice. Keith Whitley was another voice that gave me gooosebumps when he sang. Willie, Dolly, Emmylou are also just awesome, and I've always loved Nanci Griffith's songwriting. Hope you have a great week! ~strummergurl~

Danna, Thank you for allowing me to one of your friends... Your comments about my new song made me feel really good inside. It didn't take the agony of my dilema dealing with job loss and my wifes son leaving for Afganistan about 2:30 am Monday from Wisconsin Fort McCoy. I have uploaded a new song. It is called Jenna's Journey. It is in memory of a beautiful seventeen year old girl who passed away this past September. She had been battling a painful type of cancer since she was 15. Please read my blog for the lyrics. There is also a link to her full story. Her parents are creating a foundation in her name and I would love it if you dropped her mom a note of condolence. Thank you so much!
