I've recently picked up my guitar again after leaving it sit for well over eight years. Back in the 1980's, for about seven years, I made a living playing guitar in a group called Hot Cargo (a picture from those days is above). This was back when I lived in Ohio, where I grew up. The band played in the greater Cincinnati area. It was one of the best times of my life. Even though nothing much eventually came of it, I'm sure glad I took the chance. I would have always wondered what 'could have happened'.
Why this name?
Rockermann is just a play on my name and my attitude.
Do you play live?
I used to play live back in the 80's. Loved it. It was one of the best times of my life.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
You bet. Doubt that will ever present itself, though.
Your influences?
I've been using my Boss GT-6 and Audition 1.5 recording software to put together a few little ditties as I get a bit more comfortable with my playing again. It's still an ongoing process, and I'm no where near the level I was years ago, but it's definitely fun to pick up the guitar again. As you're sure to notice, I still lean towards the heavier side of the Rock scale. Some of my influences over the years have been Rush, Van Halen, Judas Priest and the Scorpions.
