I'm Professor Fuzz, and my band is the Mighty Cow-Wolves. We play lo-fi garage blues with lots of fuzz.
Why this name?
I'm a professor and I'm into fuzz. My Boston Terriers are fondly known as "cow-wolves." We named the band in their honor.
Do you play live?
We play together at various local jams. It's always a special moment with Mr. B sings "O Miss Maybelle, let me be your hoppin' frog."
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It's the current revolution, waiting to be overthrown by next generation revolutionaries. Viva los Cow-Wolves!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Why, would they want us?
Band History:
Professor Fuzz and the Mighty Cow-Wolves are a family band of sort, featuring Professor Fuzz on guitar, and his teenage kids Rosie-K on guitar and Mr. B on drums. We are saving money to buy a bus like the Partidge Family had. Donations accepted.
Your influences?
Anything blue, fuzzy, and made in a garage.
R.L. Burnside. Junior Kimbrough. The Sonics. Captain Beefhart. The Black Keys. The Stooges. Coltrane. The Jade Dog of Supreme Mystery. Flipper. Papa Mali.
Favorite spot?
The Pure Chamber for Contemplating Antiquity.
11:11 (AM and PM) is my favorite moment of each day.
Equipment used:
Professor Fuzz plays an Eastwood Airline 3PDX and a heavily modified Squier Affinity Strat loaded with a Lollar Chicago Steel pickup. My amp is a Silvertone 1481 rehoused by The Blues Box Amps. Lots of pedals, including a MJM Foxey Fuzz, a Catalinbread VariOboost, a ToneFactor Sugar Baby, and a Danelectro Fab Echo.
Anything else...?
Professor Fuzz and the Mighty Cow-Wolves are Coltrane approved, and Coltrane knows mojo!

Peace from ours to yours!
