PETER LIAM HOLCROSS
Do you play live?
Occasionally, at area churches. I played live Christian concerts and churches for about 15 years, then became a DJ at a Christian radio station while raising my family of 9 kids. I haven't done too many live shows at all since then; but, as my kids are almost all out of the house, I'd like to gradually get back into a fulltime music ministry. Please pray for me to be able to do this!... and thank you.
Band History:
My wife and I are former missionaries abroad. After being a Christian for 14 years, I underwent a wonderful reawakening that completely renewed and rekindled my Christian faith! I wrote the songs for my album "By The Blood Of The Lamb" during the time of this awakening. My entire story is on my website (peterliamholcross.com) as well as writings by some great Christian authors that led me into this "deeper life".
Your influences?
I wrote all my songs on a 12-string guitar, so I just added drums and drum synths, electric guitar, and bass. The style is generally acoustic rock, with a little bit of country and blues. I get a lot from Tom Petty, James Taylor, The Eagles, etc.
Favorite spot?
Hilton Head Island, SC
Equipment used:
12 string Seagull Guitar, Yamaha Keyboards, Ludwig drums, Zildjian cymbals, an onboard Korg drum synthesizer, harmonicas, mandolin, electric guitar and a wood box. I mixed it all into the Korg D12 Digital Recording Studio and mastered it on my PC using Sonic Foundry.
Anything else...?
Praise God! He loves you. He says, "Come now, and let us reason together: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool." -Isaiah 1:18
Accept His forgiveness for your sins in the Person of Him who died and rose again, Jesus Christ, and he will blot out your sins and give you a clean slate; He asks you to follow Him in loving obedience and He will restore your life and renew your spirit, and give you eternal life and happiness! It's just that simple. God bless you! and thanks for listening. -Peter
