The Polouse Cowboy Poets is a group of musicians and poets that put on a yearly Cowboy Gathering. We try to keep the old Western Spirit alive by our songs and poems.
Why this name?
The group started in Polouse, Washington; so the name.
Do you play live?
We attend Cowboy Gatherings all over the West Coast and some of our members travel as far as Texas and New Mexico for award shows and performances.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
We think that the new technology is here to stay and will help us greatly in our quest.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
A record deal would be a great thing for our artists.
Band History:
We will give a little more time to this area later.
Your influences?
Our influences are varied, but we like to call our music Wetsern.
Favorite spot?
I love our area in the Northwest. I love Seattle and Portland, but for outdoor fun give me high country around Lolo pass.
Equipment used:
We use mostly acoustic instruments for our shows.
