No One's Hero is a four piece rock band from Avon, CT. They formed in the summer of 2001 and ever since then, they have been writing our own original material. Based on their own rock n' roll, punk, and ska influences, No One's Hero delivers a unique sound that is guaranteed to rock your sox off.
Why this name?
We were pretty much tossing out anything we could think of and we thought "No One's Hero" sounded cool.
Do you play live?
We play live whenever we get the chance to. Its pretty much the best part about being in a band; letting others enjoy or hate your music. Plus you meet a lot of cool people in other bands.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It makes promotion for your band easier.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Depends.
Band History:
No One's Hero formed in early 2001 with Matt, Chris, Billy, and Colin. They now have a variety of originals and they have released four EP's, Broken Picks and Roundhouse Kicks (June 2002), Yellow (October 2002), Super Bubbles (November 2002), and Half-A-CD (2003). Currently, they are producing a full length album called Shadows in the Woods that should be released sometime in late 2004. Their music ranges from pop punk, to more traditional punk, to just plain weird shit. With their buzzsaw guitars, awesome riffs, crazy drums, and Colin they'll be most likely decomposing their way into the 22nd century.
Your influences?
Green Day, AC/DC, NOFX, Aerosmith, the Living End, the Hives, etc.
Favorite spot?
Haven't been to enough, but Hartford is always cool.
