Why this name?
I didn't choose the name, my father may his soul rest in peace did.
Do you play live?
Yes I do, in different concerts and parties.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Well, for a start it's really good because it's a way to spread the name and contact people and meet new people. But when the name is spread it becomes negative since there are no copy rights, but for the time being, I'm cool with that.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
MMD Records for life.
Band History:
NiZ-R a half Iraqi half Palestinian living in Jordan was born on January the 20th of 1988, he was raised in a family that was always attached to politics, with different political points of view, so he developed his own personal political point of view at a really small age.
He was really influenced by his father, Dr. Mazin K. Samarrai, and was his idol, his father went to Turkey to work on 1997, which made NiZ-R incharge at a very young age. So then, NiZ-R lived with his mother and his little brother, he had to be a man while he was still a child.
In 2002, NiZ-R met Rami through the Internet, and listened to what Rami recorded, and really liked the idea of Arabic Rap, and he wanted to join the Arabic Rap world.
In the same year NiZ-R's father was asked to go to Iraq by Dr. Ayyad Allawi, to help install peace in Iraq after the American troops have failed trying to control the situation in Iraq, and after some thinking he did, and he was the only one who could solve the problem between Americans and Samarra`.
NiZ-R recorded his very first song in the summer of 2003, under the name of "El Lo3by" it was produced by Rami, and since then Rami has helped NiZ-R with everything, not only music, but in everything.
On October the 20th of 2004 Dr. Mazin Samarrai was assasinated by masked terrorists, who shot him to death.
NiZ-R was really shocked by this incident, and a new personality came up, kind of crazy and rebellious, and he said whatever's on his mind without caring about what anybody thinks.
